_{It's funny because no matter who I ask, I usually get the same response: "Nothing much." And then the occasional very long story. But it really makes me wonder- are we asking people because it's cool or polite or whatever, or because we actually want to hear what's going on in their lives? I guess sometimes we get so caught up in what's going on with us that we forget other people are having the same problems- or different ones, also, but with basically the same result.

Life's good and bad, but it's also just very fast, and I'm suddenly finding that it's better to listen and look for awesomeness than to keep the eyes to the ground and expect the same results every time. Laughing things off is also good.

So for once I wasn't actually trying to wax on about philosophical stuff, but now that I've started down that path, I might as well stop while I'm ahead. Good luck with things, and peace out.
